Re: adnohr
It does appear that folk never think of the future; once the track is lost, it is the end.
I am picking out some of the oldies and deleting the worst offering. I once saw a little redhead girl she pointed to her brother and said to her friend call him dinger.

Sadly our village trains are going the way of the horse and buggy. What a lovely poem! I can picture Ginger dancing around, teasing your nerves.

Re: Good afternoon
The trouble here is space, where the trains ran through, is no more. It has been built
on and impassable. Once I would wait up until way past eleven and listen for the
train's hooter. I would then get our old travelling shop out of the garage and drive to
collect boxes of day-old chicks from the railway station. Of course, then they had to
be put under hoovers to settle down in the warmth.

Ginger has a strong faith despite the odds.
Some things are impossible to achieve but we can always hang on to hope and faith that the impossible can be accomplished.

Good afternoon
I love trains! We live just a few feet from our borough's railroad tracks, so we get an up-close view of the many trains that travel through daily. It is in my mind one of the coolest inventions ever made.
