People will always do things to make extra,, or save a few dollars. I think you may be right the trouble is some do not appreciate if they have a good one.

Good Afternoon
I hope the kitty stays warm this winter. I worry about all the animals when it gets very cold. Our weather is so different now but we could have temps well below zero on our really cold days. There's a cat that comes into the yard once in a while. I've never seen it but Roy and my neighbors have seen it. I hope it's just wandering around the neighborhood and it has a place to live.

I think they don't want us burning pallets because the wood is treated
with chemicals that can cause cancer if you breathe in the smoke. But I could be wrong about that. Nothing brings out the stories like a campfire outdoors, or a few friends gathered around a fireplace. It's good that so many are taking care of the kitty.

People do the same around here, picking up dead branches or trees and scavenging what we can to keep our fires going. Hmm - once upon a time I would say the chances with nature were better than those with a woman. The way the climate is right now, I'm not so sure.
