Good evening
I agree that rape has nothing to do with what a woman is wearing and everything to do with a man's corrupted mentality. I just finished reading That Camden Summer by LaVyrle Spencer. It is based on a divorced single mother who is making a new life in New England in the early 1900s. The main character was raped by her brother-in-law who helped her to find her new home. He considered her to be worldly, and her ignoring his advances infuriated him to the point of rape one night on a dark road.

Many people think rape is a facet of sexual expression. It is not.
Rape is a weak man's attempt to take control of a situation. It is not an expression of lust, but rather contempt and resentment. Targets for rape are chosen as animals in nature choose targets that are easily taken down and destroyed.
