My kids won't eat anything with raisins in it, so making rice pudding calls for two batches, one with (for me) and one without. Same goes for cookies or fruit cake.

Pat, I'm not sure how much Christmas shopping we are doing this year. It depends on what's going on with Covid. Last year I sent out so many Christmas cards and most people did not get them. I may not send cards out this year. It's still up in the air. So many of our family and friends told us they were disappointed because we didn't send out cards but I told everybody that we did send them out. It was crazy.

Good afternoon
I love that too. We used to have several daily flyovers when we lived in Virginia Beach by the Navy base. We still have flyovers here in Pittsburgh due to living near three airports. The small Cessnas fly over Highway 51. When I had a sunroof, I used to snap a pic of them flying over the car. Love it! It is beautiful and sunny here today. We are headed out later to celebrate our son-in-law's birthday. Have a great weekend.

A week's "stay-cation" - sounds like a chance for some cozy time and
the perfect opportunity to beat the Christmas shopping crowds. Seems early to start thinking of this, but the news gals are saying some of the most popular gifts will be in short supply by Nov/Dec. Enjoy your cookies.
