Sassy, I've watched the news until I couldn't take it anymore. It appears all the rain missed us and I'm thankful for that. I hope you share pictures of your raised beds. They sound awesome.

Expecting a bit of rain here and there is damage from wind that swept through a few weeks ago. I too am praying for everyone in an awful situation; Fire flood drought and Pandemic.

Good afternoon
It appears that the news has shifted from Biden to the flooding and fires once again. I am so glad that the sun has finally decided to show up. My yard is totally soggy and in need of a good trim and cut. By Saturday, it should be dry enough to do just that. John has been caught by two double shifts this week, so I plan to help him with the yard duties. We are putting up the raised bed for my herbs this weekend. I can't wait.

FSI, I'm so thankful that you are okay. I have to say rain is one thing but tornados can be so destructive. Did you get any flooding?

What with the COVID, the dangerous weather in so many places, the dismay about Afghanistan...one wonders what next? I am so grateful to be sitting in my bush halfway up my mountain and yes, drinking coffee.

This Marylander is fine. We had some hard rain in my area, and that was the extent. Some parts of Maryland did get a tornado, and they have a mess, sadly.
