Knowing exactly what you mean about Master Graysome's mixed moods. Embers is that way, too. I've spent the past few days wondering if she's glimpsing the Rainbow Bridge from various vantage points in her life.
Charlie used to use bubble wrap in his Live Action games, putting it under carpet to be a 'trap,' that would be 'sprung' by someone walking over it. 
Glad to hear of your plan for the next 6 months! I suspected it would be something like this. It sounds very practical and reasonable.

It is hot here today we do not have air conditioning I suppose we don't get many hot days. 
The computer shut down suddenly and the phone so I think there are electric strikes somewhere near..It is a pain watering, one thing there is no shortage at present, glad we do not have to haul it from a well.

Kabu, I'm so glad Mr. Graysome is okay. I would have been worried too. When you mentioned the bubble wrap it made me remember a paperweight that I've had since I was 14. I had a boyfriend that invited me to cedar point for the day. My Mom said it was okay that I went. It was such a fun day. There was a glassmaker there and I was so surprised to see the paperweight with my name on it. I'm not sure how they did it but my name is inside the paperweight. I was so amazed by it and the boy I was with asked if I would like to have it. I was just thrilled and of course, said yes. I remember the paperweight was $6. To this day I still have it. I've moved it from every place I've ever lived. It's sitting in the buffet now. Can you just imagine someone being that amazed by a paperweight? What can I say?

I am happy to hear that Graysome is alive and well. Cats are such strange creatures. As for the bubble wrap, smart move. That stuff is perfect for protecting breakables.
