Good morning
Good luck to you. Maybe you could join an author's group in your area. My group, the Steel City Creatives sets up book signings at various local book stores, including B&N, that allow us to talk to people, get creative inspiration, and sell our books. I am not a great writer, but my two last books are doing good with sales. I believe that they are selling due to the one-on-one interaction with people in my area that evolves into word of mouth.

I hope you make some good contacts in the publishing business
while you're out there. Connecting with one good agent would be a grand payoff, along with the sales...
