BC-A, you can mix a little water and butter if necessary.  It will be moist.

Really? I find the cheese hardens and sticks to the sides and bottom. Adding water before placing in the heat of the microwave might soften it.

Good Afternoon

This is a hard question.  You always have to add some sort of liquid to heated-up foods to keep them moist.  If I had to pick I think I would say Macaroni and cheese the next day.

That is a good question. So many are ruined by the microwave.

I find that reheating leftovers in the microwave can make them dry or overcooked. I heat for less than a minute, stir, and then resume heating. I have learned to add stock, butter, sauce, water, etc.. to microwaved food to keep it moist. I also make sure to place a lid on the food with an opening that allows steam to escape.
