Young chimps also babble! Those who have been in signing-programs will look through magazines they are given for enrichment, and have been observed 'babbling' with sign language as they look at the pictures. On their own, too, they practice signing clumsily until practice makes perfect! It's also kind of fascinating that older signing chimps actually teach signing to the younger ones.

It seems whale's brains are much larger than human's. Sad and weird

to think we've hunted them throughout the millennia thinking they were only animals, when it might be that they have accumulted knowledge and insights  that we have yet to learn.

It will be interesting to learn what the sounds mean, I suppose most animals have warning sounds and other sounds that we have not deciphered.
