Issues like this are one reason I don't order online. The other reason

is porch pirates. Besides, I like to look items over before I pay for them. I wonder if you might get some help from your virtual asst if you just canceled your payment.

Re: BC-A

Yes, but unfortunately for many people, that last tracking location of the package was in Indianapolis. It was where the horrid mass shooting was and who knows what has happened to it?

That's the pitfall of the Net.

Re: TAPS

I almost lost out on a delivery today. They conveniently (for them) left it on the sidewalk on top of the mailbox so anyone to help themselves to the package. Sorry you lost your groceries. Yes, the person must have needed them very badly to take them. Maybe it was someone hungry. Since you are in an apt. it must be someone there. I hope they enjoyed them. Your vaccine appt. was truly more important. You can get more groceries but you can't get another life.

Re: sassy

Nope! Not good. They already suffered one catastrophe this month with a mass shooting there where my package was being held. I tracked it that far - then it stopped. I will have to follow up but I hate doing stuff like that. Still, I am losing out unless they get on the ball and it is frustrating.

Re: Annicita

Oh, yes, they will get a call from me, as soon as I'm calm enough to carry on a rational conversation with someone there. Their Virtual Ass. popped a phoone number on my screen to call. Because they had the horror of a mass shooting where my "stuff" was being held in transit, I am trying to be sensitive to the company and their loss.

I lost out on my grocery delivery this month because the Covid-19 called our appointment for our vaccination at the exact same time I had arranged for delivery.  I weight the loss and decided to get my shot.  When I got back home there were no groceries at the door, but on my computer was a picture of my groceries sitting at my door as proof.  I hope that whoever got my stuff really needed it and really enjoyed it.

I would blow up their customer service department until you get the desired results. Make a paper trail, take names, and stick to it. Good luck to you. I went through this in March, and last year twice. We have had missing gift cards that have been mailed out on different holidays. We use tracking, so they can narrow it down to the exact date and address that they were sent to. Then we contacted the stores that the gift cards were from and asked where they were used and on what day. We were able to catch one of the thefts due to the package not making it out of the post office that it was mailed from. The Post Master filed a complaint and it went through the USPS Office of Inspector General.
