Re: Goldiec

In highschool I always had a little container of strawberry ice cream and a 5 cent sack of Chees-its.   Everyday,  LOL

How fun.   My four sons had lunch boxes in the 1960's like some of those.  They loved carrying them to school and eating the things I packed for them.  In the 1940's my Mom would would wrap our sandwiches, fruit and cookies in newspaper and tie it up with string.   We'd untie the string, use the newspaper for a placemat the roll up anything left like banana peelings or such and throw it all away.

I loved having my little lunch box. The thermos always broke though. Hardly got to use it because Mama wanted us to come home for lunch and I actually preferred to eat at home since I was a picky eater. I mostly remember taking salami on white and an apple in a brown paper bag though. They served milk at school, and I never could drink it all. Mama had to go up to the school and have a talk with the lunch ladies about that...

Good Evening

I never had a lunch box.  In Elementary school, we would walk home for lunch and in High School, I would have chocolate milk and pretzels every day.  I would buy them out of the vending machine.  Can you just imagine! haha

Re: Annicita, I never had one either. Like you, I bought my lunch.

In high school, we used to leave and have lunch at Taco Bell, Wendy's, or McDonald's.

I never had one growing up. We bought our lunches every week whether we wanted to or not.
