It was fun to get new outfits for Easter, even white gloves! My sis was a tomboy and hated to have to wear a dress. I loved dressing up my girls and having egg hunts. Did you get a new outfit?

My mom used to buy us new outfits every Easter and Christmas. Shoes, socks and dresses; we loved it!

I don't think many would have afforded the luxury of new clothes. Perhaps one small article would have sufficed.
