So the teachers are to blame?
Teachers have never been paid well. It has just never been a priority. And it is getting harder and harder to teach children, mostly because the parents don't want to do anything and figure the teachers will take care of it all. then you go and start cutting back on a lot of the programs that help kids want to learn, such as theater and art programs, then or course it is all the teachers fault for the kids having those problems. Get real, that is just straight out finger pointing. It is used by those who do not want to except the idea that they need to work with their own children to make them learn, not just figure the teachers will do it all for them.

I think when the school system begins to teach every child how to make a living in the world in a real sense, the teachers will get the pay they feel they deserve.
