Human nature tells most of us that boxes are easier to sort through over an unorganized mess that is strewn around, helter-skelter.

Fabulous post! I thought a while back that we were on our way to transcending the labels/boxes of race and other areas of bias. I don’t feel the need for those boxes to exist in my world. Perhaps circles would be better. I feel there is a greater need for tolerance, empathy, understanding and kindness.

A very interesting post--well written.  I was thinking something along those lines today in regard to my son who passed away in 2020.  He was so very sweet to people--especially to old people and to people of other races.  I miss him.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness".

This immediately puts women in a different box. Back then, a woman belonged to a man just like his slaves.
