I’m sure he was a patient who was a challenge for the most patient of nurses! He was probably terrified and as his stress level rose so did his abrasiveness. Hope he is on the road to recovery.

I know from experience of being a nurse for years that it is not easy or pleasant to care for complaining, abrasive patients, but nurses try hard. Doctors are not usually as patient as nurses.

He was probably terrified of what they would find when they operated.

Best to grin and bear it. Some might find it could be worse.

Good Morning
Oh my! Josh seems to be a rather unpleasant patient. I really feel that it doesn't do much good to make everyone miserable just because you are miserable. He should stop and think about how the nurses and doctors feel dealing with someone like him. They are trying to help him and he's giving them a hard time because of it. I know he didn't want to be there but he should be thankful for his doctor and the hospital. Whatever caused the bleeding could be quite serious. I'm thinking it could have been a tear in his intestine or possibly an ulcer. Everyone knows stress makes things worse for all of us.

It's tempting to wonder if there's a correlation between anger and internal bleeding like blood pressure.

Some patients are really hard on the staff. A hospital is a noisy place where they expect you to rest, but with the worries, procedures, and unknown situations, that can be hard to do. Josh may have been irritated during his stay, making the staff a bit wary of entering his room, but in the end, they have a job to do.
