I used to hear that the gas business was unprofitable by my father, who new a service station and gas dealer.

You can bet your bottom dollar that the car industry will eventually have different means of fueling. There is big money and big money discovers things that seemed science fiction not so long ago.

A friend of mine asked me what I will do with my car if / when everything goes electric. I am like you. Wondering how long electric will last? I have no idea of what the future will bring. I feel you and Dad will have a handle on what ever comes.

Big oil = big money = big power. All a sticky situation for the little guy. You need good strategy on this and I think you have it.

Re: Re: Good Morning

FSI, I had no idea.  I wonder if it's like this in West Virginia too?  At least Pennsylvania has a plan if they have to do a major clean-up.

Re: Good Morning

The Oil Company has the liability. In Pennsylvania, where Sassy lives, one cent of every gallon sold goes into a mass fund for clean up.

Good Morning

FSI, I totally agree with you.  I've always wondered when gas tanks are removed does the EPA come in to check the ground?  If they do and there's a problem who pays for that?  I'm so glad that you and your Dad have thought in advance as to what the future will be like.  I believe you and your Dad are both very smart business owners.  I have always heard that there's not much profit in selling gas.  I never understood it because it can be costly for the consumers.  I think this was a great post.

Your vision is on point

I too see a big future for charging stations. Life is about change and that is exactly what is coming in our very near future.
