Oh dear me yes, it was time for the man to retire. Kids shouldn't mouth off like that but slapping them around is terrible.

Makes a difference if the teacher is willing to help especially the one's with less ability
I guess you can look back and compare most.

Good Morning
Wow! I can see why you felt the way you did. It's never a pleasant experience to have any kind of teacher that doesn't like the kids. I'm really surprised the school didn't do something when he lost his cool. I think that now things would be different. Life can be a roller coaster ride. Good teachers and bad teachers make up a lot of classrooms.

You have given the perfect example of good and bad.
A great teacher will always be willing to show you the way. Any teacher that doesn't like kids shouldn't be teaching any class.
