Ciel, they do have little smokies but the ones we get on Saturday morning are the long dry sausages.  They come in different flavors and are so good.

Good morning 🌞 Yes the pandemic has changed so many things yet many things are the same.. like our daily needs & requirements for which one has to go out and keep social distance as in a few states in India the covid cases are rising again. Have a good weekend.

Sounds like a very satisfying day! 

Are smokies the little smoked sausages? My mom used to put those in the Progresso lentil soup, and I still like to do that today!

I use one-pound of seashell-style pasta. I reserve some of the pasta water to add to the sauce if it gets too thick. I add an entire stick of real butter, 1 cup of half & half, cheddar cheese, a 1/2 block of cream cheese, and 1/2 cup sour cream. I also add 1 teaspoon dry mustard powder, salt & pepper. It comes out really creamy and cheesy.

The pandemic has changed the world that we know.  Sassy, did you make homemade mac & cheese?  It sounds good!  John's sandwich sounds pretty good too!  I love sliced onion on a sandwich.  He will be tired and hungry when he gets home.

For whatever reason, banks everywhere are majorly changing and merging.

My guess is that the COVID has forced many changes. As for corned beef, I love a good Reuben on rye. John is working a double, so I made a bowl of mac & cheese for myself. When he gets home later tonight I will make him a spicy chicken patty on a toasted bun with lettuce and sliced onion.

There's a restaurant near me that services corn beef and cabbage once in a while. It's a big hit.
