There are a lot of questions and speculation can cause more damage than good. The authorities just want the facts. Sometimes the rumors can be worse than the truth.

Lovely piece of course we will never know what happened. I can't help feeling that Mel would not have left his cows in distress. Perhaps he was lifted off his farm by Aliens.

You just gotta love the town gossips. They always seem to know more than the suspect through speculations and wild imaginations.
