Yes
Chimps certainly talk to each other and judging by the quality of English TV they write the scrips for most of the shows.

I am not an academic but I don't quite agree with them. All animals can communicate. Different noises for alarm for fighting for loving for calling out, justto mention a few.

Fascinating report. I have never doubted the intelligence of animals. It is humans who are dumb to underestimate the instincts and knowledge of other living things.
