Ten or so years ago I found a cozy yellow wool blanket at a thrift shop &
bought it for $5. Wool blankets are hard to find in the first place and very expensive in the second place. This one had a 3" hole in it, probably from a cigarette. I took some yellow yarn and crocheted a patch. It's my toasty warm winter layer under the quilt these days. It's probably the first thing my daughter will throw out after I'm gone - she likes new and stylish.

Good Morning
Ciel, it seems like it is always cold here. I hope you have a good day and stay warm! I'm going to come up with something good to bake in the oven. It always warms up the house when I turn the oven on.

I still have a few heavy Blankets . They were made here as this town was once famous for blankets. These were the top quality for export. I should have put one on the bed last night, My brother uses two duvets.
