Re: Re: S

Social skills can't be emphasized enough for children in school.

Re: kabu

As long as they get through; when I went there was a dress code, and then jeans, casual clothes, mini skirts, and hot pants that were just introduced were permitted.

Uh, do they go to school anymore? lol. There are pros and cons for each. My kids wore uniforms after kinder and first grade. I like the uniforms. I wore one also.

it doesn't much matter I guess unless it becomes a contest or a fashion parade.

Well having seen a little gypsy girl in a coat marked Cattle Feed. Nethertheless I don;t really have preference.

Re:

I also agree with Goldiec that it is not a fashion show, but a place for learning. Of course, social skills are a big part of that, so kids get crazy ideas from watching other kids which goes back to dressing appropriately.

I have no preference so long as they are dressed appropriately. The sagging jeans, belly shirts, ripped clothing, and low tops are a distraction.

Years ago my answer would have been different but now in 2021, I would have to say uniforms.  I think it's part of giving children structure.  I think school should be a learning place and not a fashion show.
