BC_A, I'm glad to hear it warmed up a little in your area. I know your landlady really appreciates you. Scraping snow and ice off of a car in the middle of winter is no fun.

It was warmer at 34, above the freezing mark. However, I had to scrape and shovel off snow and that thin watery sheet ice, clearing the back door to my apartment and make a path to my landlady Mrs. Sun's car. When I came in, she asked about her car windows and roof. I told her I cleared the way.

Kabu, when it's this cold I stay in the house. I'm not one to be outside in the freezing weather. I'd much rather stay warm in the house. My cornbread turned out really good.

Pat, my kids all loved going to school and they had so many friends. It would have been so hard to keep them home every day. I worked full time too. I'm not sure how everyone is handling all of this.

C_C_T, our vaccine is few and far between. I'm not sure how long it will take to get to me. I was surprised they are saying once we receive the shot we will still have to wear our masks. My cornbread turned out good.

Your post reminds me how we used to take school 5 days a week
for granted. My kids all liked school and did pretty well - I don't think I could have held down a full-time job if they had been stuck at home as kids are now. We need a cure for this virus, and the sooner the better.

I don't think we will get a lift up, although hospital cases are down . Some refuse to have the jab. So it makes it harder.
