They are great. I remember my mom bot having one when I was very little. She would wet a newspaper and put the wet edge on the floor and sweet the dirt onto it. It worked!

Oh yes I do agree. The ones with the handle for me now for years. love your posts. You remind me so often that there is no such thing as the mundane Everything we use and do has an importance attached to it. Thank you.

Sometimes when I do not feel like Hovering the stairs I use a stiff brush and a dustpan and a mask of course.

Absolutely! Mine has a handle so I don't need to bend down.
Without dustpans, we would sweep dirt out the door, and that is bad luck to do.
