I once saw a fox catch a rabit. The poor rabbit was consumed.

I know that our deer have places in the woods that they have made into their homes.  They blend in with the branches and twigs and the leaves from fall make a nice soft bed for them.  We have the coyotes but they are usually the hunters and they don't really hide. We've seen them many times.

Re: Yes, I forgot about the bunnies.

They hide under our Hostas plants.

Yes, we have wild animals that hide all of the time.

I have a gardening work table where I keep all of my supplies. It has space underneath. We have had groundhogs, moles, and squirrels hide under it when the hawks show up. They have scared me half to death before when they come running out. We also made a thatched area behind our rasberry bushes that are filled with dead limbs. The birds make homes there and hide out in them when the hawks show up.
