I believe that we learn to "do it all" so that nobody gets neglected.
We are our own worse critics. Writers tend to block out the world when they are deep into their work, but one must eat, sleep, and converse with others at some point.

They may be creative and want to share it with the world. I think some people are born with that gift. Then again maybe it's from another life.
