We're expecting a Nor-Easter. It could be ten inches of snow or several inches of rain. Those things are tough to predict.
Our schools are supposed to have hybrid learning by March 1st. We'll see how that goes.

Good morning!
I am hoping that the severe storm head for the east blows past Pennsylvania. It is so cold here that I barely go outdoors. I feed the birds in the morning, but that is as far as I am willing to travel accept for appointments and necessities.

Re:
Kabu, we have issues here with following the guidelines. Some people still don't believe COVID is real and I'm not sure how we can convince them. I cannot seriously believe that they think the whole world is lying to us. It's unbelievable.

There is quite a bit of agro here over schools . We have the new variant of Covid and I think a good many parents are now more worried than previously. I feel for you, it is miserable to feel cold all the time. I never felt the cold but now I am on statins and such I know the feeling , Wrap up warm and wear a warm hat. One must not get run down.

Our children here have the option of not returning, I believe. Some parents want them to go back and some don't. Funny, no one thinks of the teachers very much.

even though we are in lock down only allowed to go for groceries, pharmacy and Dr...I can see it isn't being observed properly. Yes Masks and distancing but still there is a lot of places open that I didn't expect to find open

Re: I think the issue of school closures is one of the toughest problems
Pat, I think this pandemic has caused so many problems for so many people. I feel so sorry for families with young children. Child care is so expensive and with the cost of housing and utilities not to even mention food both parents have to work. I believe you are right and the children do need to be in a classroom learning among their friends.

I think the issue of school closures is one of the toughest problems
for everyone during this pandemic. On the one hand the kids need to be safe - and so do the teachers and other adults working in the schools. But on the other hand, they need to be among their friends as well as learning. This is a problem for working parents, who need their kids to be supervised - I see on the news where many moms opt to leave their jobs partly because child care is so expensive. I know it's a problem for my granddaughter, who has younger stepkids as well as a son who's graduating this spring. What a mess.
