I hope that food prices get under control. We have seen a hike but nothing like what you're seeing.

It all seems a struggle somehow, but I suppose it could be worse. Take care my cat vanished for two days, courting I think. When all this is over I shall have him seen too. The vet said he has a chip but I have no idea who it really be longs too. I shut him in a greenhouse For a couple of nights it has a heater which it lies under but the little bugger found a way to get out by pushing under a piece of  stiff plastic. I am afraid it might get run over although Ihave never had a cat that has. I did have a goose it put its head down to scare a car wheel and the wheel kept going.

I guess that it is all in where you live.

For whatever reason, everything is open in our area despite the high numbers. In my opinion, we need to shut down as well until this is under control. It is good that you can get much-needed supplies, but that cost is outrageous. Like you said though, we have to eat, so they get you coming and going.

I think I first noticed the price jump about 7 or 8 months ago, when they

finally had Lysol cans on the shelves again. The price went from $3.95 to $7.95. Somebody's making money on this pandemic. I loved your description of Mr. G's decision to stay tucked in after all - I could almost hear the brakes screech as he came to a stop and burned rubber to get back inside!  Ha! Ha!  Thanks for the smile.

It seems we have a strange way of living now, each in his own way.  No one is free from some kind of major difference from what it was before 2020 began.

Kabu, I'm so glad you were able to get out and get your supplies.  Our groceries are going up in price too.  A pot roast used to be relatively cheap here but now they can run $25.  I just can't believe the prices. Stay warm!  It's cold outside!
