Re: Goldiec

BC-A, thank you for your wonderful comment.  It's going to be in the '40s today but then we will have snow again.

Re: thank you

Raysongs, thank you so much for your comment.  It is such an exciting time in Cleveland.  There have been some players out for COVID, but hopefully, they will be back for the game. Cleveland really needed a boost after the year we've had.  Everyone has a common goal and that's what I call priceless.  Finally something good to think about!

Goldiec

Today, it was 47 only cloudy. You're a good mother and grandmother in all kinds of weather.

Re:

Kabu, I really like the idea of tiny houses too!  They would give people privacy and they would be warm which is so important in the middle of winter.

I like to hold a book in my hands too dear. I do like the idea of tiny houses with a bed and table etc and community facilities for washing and perhaps meals as well. No body should have to try to survive a North American Winter outside.

Re:

FSI, I believe you are right and there are so many different ways that COVID is affecting our lives.  Thank you so much for your comment!

There are so many angles to COVID, isolation, money, family bonds, friendships. It's mind boggling to consider it all.

Re: We have a similar program for the children here in Pennsylvania.

Sassy, I feel so sorry for the children that have to rely on the free meals as their only meals.  It's very sad.  I'm very happy that we are going to have a couple days when it's not freezing.  Stay warm!

Re: Reading is a great way for writers to get a feel for the art. I always had

Pat, I still remember going to the Library when I was in grade school.  I absolutely loved it.  From that time till now I have loved reading.  My house is filled with books.  I think it is wonderful that you do research for weekly writer's tips for the Senior Center.  They are so lucky to have you!

We have a similar program for the children here in Pennsylvania.

I suspect that for some kids it is their only good meal that they receive in a day. It warmed up here yesterday, but it is freezing this morning. Our healthcare workers have started receiving the vaccine. Then it will move on to the elderly and work down from there. Stay warm and be safe!

Reading is a great way for writers to get a feel for the art. I always had

my nose in a book as I was growing up, and when I could as I raised kids and held down a job. These days I don't read so much - too much time online and watching TV, but I still do some research for my weekly writer's tips & topics for the Senior Center.
