Sassy, Good Luck on house hunting!  I hope you find something you really like.  It's freezing here this morning too!

That would make for an interesting book. The title is sadly fitting too.

The Covid does not play around, yet I still hear people saying that it isn't a real thing. I know better. It has hit close to home for my family. It is freezing here this morning, but I believe that it will warm up later. We are headed out on a house hunt this afternoon.

Re:

Taps, I wish we could all read a book about the pandemic in the far off future.  It would be up to us to make sure they got it right.

Re: "Alone in a Sea of Tears" is too maudlin - it may be so over the top it

Pat, thanks for the comment.  I wish I could read a book about 2020 in the future!  I want the writer to get the story right.  It's been so heartbreaking for so many people. I can see us all reading the book and putting it down and saying that's not what happened.

I'm thinking that if and when the pandemic is finally past and no longer a threat, I'm in no way going to want to read a book about it....at least not for a hundred years or so.

could be mistaken for dark humor.  How about "Alone, Together," since we're all in the same boat, although with variations as to how cold and stormy the weather may be in different situations.

Listening to the news, it's not over yet. Just seems to be getting worse. Stay safe!
