Good for you for going to the effort of doing that.   At my age now it is just too much for me.  Mine are probably all worn out anyway.

I used to donate all the time but every time I did it made me sick.  They said to drink more water but that didn't seem to help.  It's been quite a while since I gave blood and I do have one of the rare types of blood.  I carry a card from the Redcross but now if we do want to donate we have to schedule an appointment.  I used to walk in but that has now changed.

Thanks for the update. It is wonderful that you care so much about this.

I haven't donated in years. I am thankful to the Red Cross though. had it not been for them, I would not have been able to receive a life-saving blood transfusion when I was a kid.
