FSI, I think I want to get a few more and put them around the house in case we need them. Flashlights can come in really handy if the lights go out.

Annicita, thank you so much for your comment. Every year on her birthday she celebrates with a big birthday party but this year with the Covid still here it's going to be a quiet birthday for her. She will have her favorite dinner though and that will be nice.

Sassy, going for a country drive is one of my favorite things to do. I hope you share pictures! Soup and sammies are always good. Any ideas on a movie yet? It's dismal here too and I wish it was Spring. I'm tired of winter and I'm looking forward to spring. I always miss my flowers on cold winter days. Stay warm!

Pat, that is truly a good idea! I would have no problem doing this but I still don't know how to post photos. I'm so clueless when it comes to cutting and pasting. I wish I could figure it out. It took me forever to figure out how to put pictures on Facebook. My daughter worries about something happening to me and her favorite recipes will be gone. She's always asking me to write them down. I've been teaching my granddaughter Tashie how to make stuffing for years. She's getting pretty good at it.

That is a yummy birthday meal.
You are such a wonderful mom and grandmom. No Walmart for me, but we do plan to take a country drive later after the hubby gets home from work. I plan to make a light meal of soup and sammies for us later today followed by a good movie. It is not very cold here today, but it is a bit dismal. I cannot wait for Spring to arrive.

You just gave me an idea. You often write about cooking special meals
for special occasions, birthdays, etc., here on your blog. It might be interesting to others, and especially your family, if you wrote up a cookbook / journal / how-to, maybe with photos of those special request dinners. You could call it "Goldiec's Happy Meals."
