It used to be, before the days of bucket seats and seat belts, when the front seat was straight across and the fellow driving could put his arm around the girl's shoulder and pull her close while driving with his left hand.

living on a farm a boufriend had to have the use of a vehicle to take me anywhere dear Bill. That was a long long time ago.

I would say it used to matter, but nowadays, no. A lot of women have their own vehicles.

No, no, it shouldn’t matter at all but a filthy, smelly car is not appealing to be going out in. i would be more interested in how the person drives and he says.
