absolutely, when Wiley started to get sick and until he went into the facility i ran the heating higher than I enjoy. I like the home warm but I don't mind wearing an extra sweater or wrapping into a cuddle rug when relaxing rather than waste power.

That is my first complaint when the cold weather hits, the heating bill!
I have lived in two states where it stayed warm all year. I really do miss them at times. Being in Pennsylvania, we have a heating bill for roughly 3-4 months. We try not to turn it on until November, choosing instead to wear layered clothing. Being an adult is expensive.
