You do remind me so much of farming days all those years ago. We relied completely on the weather for we lived on a Peninsular where rain fall was at best 15 inches a year. It fell in the Spring and fall so that it helped us tremendously but it had to fall. Opposite to you, but a real worry.

I think the reason you feel like you do is because of the line of work you are in.  The economy has had some really hard years and it's so normal to change our way of thinking when the world changes.  There's no word to explain this year and I think we will all walk away with scars from what we've lived through.  I wonder how it will affect us in future years.  In 100 years I think the kids that read about this year will not have a clue.  I used to read about the depression era and I was fascinated by it but I really had no idea how hard it was on families but they were strong and they survived.  I loved this post.  Thank you for sharing it.  I love reading about people and their lives and how they think.  I hope you share more thoughts like this in the future.

I too dread rain. I am no fan of snow either.

I will take a mild sunny day, every day if at all possible.
