Australia went metric many many years ago and I have never been able to really feel comfortable with it. I learned pound shillings and pence and clacualted always in miles inches weight in ibs ounces etc and always see amounts and lengths the way I was taught at school. Money was much easier to change to.

I've been exposed to it since a teen. I still find it a little difficult especially when they use measurements like 1000 grams.

I think if the world was going to change the time and measurement I would have to take a class. Roy knows metric because he's a machinist but as far as me I only know inches, feet, and yards. That's the extent of my knowledge and it's only because it's what I learned in school. If I need to know something in metric I just ask Roy. Great post as always!

I think it's easier to go with what we are most comfortable in our knowledge base. Still, you have a point.

We have been watching Hallmark most of the day.
It has been a couch potato day for the most part. A snow day is good for that.

Some still go by the old measurements one just can't help it. Ciel. I wonder if we will revert if we do a Brexit.
