Didn't know you were a Terps fan
The Terps played a helluva second half at Chapel Hill. They had me wondering if the Heels were going to blow another big lead until McCants banked in that trey late in the game to rally Carolina for the win. Your team is on the bubble, but I wouldn't count them out of the Big Dance yet. The ACC is probably going to have six or seven teams in the NCAA field this year and Maryland is definitely one of the 50 or so best teams in the country. They need at least two more conference wins and a showing in the ACC Tournament. The Heels could finish anywhere from 3rd to 7th and your Terps aren't much worse off than that. It would tickle me to see seven from the ACC in the NCAA, including the Terrapins, and Virginia in the NIT. Not much hope for Clemson unless they pull at least three more shockers and do well in the conference tournament.
