- Go to Once a bus I rode hit a deer. Should a driver keep going or check car/deer?
I feel that the driver should stop. The Bus may not be safe on the road and the animal may be badly hurt and something needing to be done for it.

Yes, both the animal and the vehicle need checked.
If the animal is laying there suffering, 911 should be dispatched so that they can put it out of its misery.
