Hope you feel better and get a good night’s sleep. I am so done with Thanksgiving foods. It was all good going down, though!

Re: Kabu,

I have learned in retirement to follow impulse more easily, and adapt to conditions. That's one of the benefits of living alone--except for a cat, of course.

Re: Goldiec,

One thing I've learned about cleanups is that they can wait. I get some done each day, a little more than each day's new accumulation. Sometimes the dishwasher gets run twice in a day instead of once in two days.

Yes, to downtime! Enjoy yours!

Re: Pat,

I like to add poultry seasoning to the dumpling dough for turkey stew. There will be carrots, celery, herbs, onions and mushrooms, and at the last, I'll throw in some frozen peas.

Pies would be good, too!

remember when we were young and there were no aches or pain and one could eat whatever they wanted. Not these days I am afraid. I hope you feel better as the day progresses.

Ciel, I'm so glad you are doing better today than yesterday and that tomorrow will be better than today.  I'm still tired from all the hubbub at Thanksgiving.  I have the dishwasher going and the last of the dishes are going to be ready to be put away soon.  There is not a morsel of treats from Thanksgiving left and I'm very happy about that.  I always love the holiday and I'm always glad when it's over because I'm exhausted from the week-long preparations.  I think I need some downtime and I think you do too.

Stew sounds good. Low salt but tasty with veggies, broth, etc...

At the store earlier I saw a woman with pie crusts in line right behind me at check-out. I said "Pie, Yum." She responded she was making turkey pot pies with the left overs. I hope your post-feast day numbers get back in line quickly.  Be safe.
