I really don't know how you find the time to spend here, it is always a battle for me, I like to reply to most folk but sometimes I just forget, old age I suppose it gets one in the end.

Re:

Kabu, I love this idea!  This is the perfect way to spend the winter months.

a quiet day but starting on a new project which will help me get through the winter. I am collecting all my short stories ...some already been published and putting them into a slim book and then I will publish it on Amazon. Something to do and probably the best way to keep them.

Re: Sounds like a busy day - it's good you found time to visit Blogit.

Pat, thank you so much for your comment.  I really appreciate it.  I enjoy reading about what happened during the rationing of WW11. I thought we had made it through the worst of having empty shelves but it's all starting again and it's scary to think the things we need will not be there.

Re:

FSI, I wondered about that too!  In my opinion, nothing that goes on in 2020 makes a bit of sense to me. Thank you so much for your comment.

I'm not certain, but it's possible the impulse to stock up (hoard) toilet papre comes from the time of rationing during WWII.  TP wasn't rationed, but was in short supply and I remember mother and my aunties jumping in the car on the days they expected the big truck to deliver at their store.

It amazes me there was anothe run on toilet paper. I mean, where did all the toilet people the hoarders used go in the last eight months?
