Interesting. So many want to change the dialect or conversation so to speak to eliminate the racism etc. But it is what it is and if they do change it then they might as well go to modern days...or wait a minute. It still exists!

It's gotten so I can't watch long involved productions any more, I get

all the drama and suspense I can handle from the "news" broadcasters. It's old sitcoms and reruns of "Family Feud" for me these days.  Glad you're enjoying your Brit productions. I remember enjoying so many of the shows on BBC America or Channel 9.

Ciel, I really enjoyed your post.  It's nice that you have an interest in talented actors and the parts they play.  Sometimes Roy and I watch mysteries that are not in English.  They have the caption on the bottom of the screen.  They really are good but usually only come on late at night.  He loves watching them.  Because he's watching them I get interested in them too.

I am a fan of all things UK,,,including the BBC...just love the British humor. Adored Margaret Rutherford when she played in some of the Agathe Christie movies.
