Re:

My heart goes out to everyone that is worse off than I am.  I am asymptomatic, which makes it worse because I don't know how long I actually had it.  Minnesota has jumped sky high and I work with those who have underlying conditions.  I wish that everyone who recovers realizes that it was out of our control and that they are survivors.  And that those who are going through this cherish what it's like to be in loved company.  Compassion also needs to grow more.

Re:

I am the same way actually. What I don't like is my sister is getting flack in her household simply because she rode in with me and tested negative.  After I return, I am not sure I'll be paying much attention to my coworkers.  I wasn't before but still going to be very wary. I'm used to people not liking what I do as it is, but I hate seeing it to those who are associated with me.

I pray that you recover completely from the dreaded virus. it really is nasty and disruptive to life and none of us could possibly have been prepared for 20 20. As for the looks and the gossip at work- I was an RN when I was working and I just concentrated on my tasks and never got involved with the gossip and back stabbing. I knew it was all around me but the people that I was working with were my center and the rest flowed over me because I refused to participate or even acknowledge any of it. I wasn't popular, but if some disliked me I never knew because I never listened.

I do hope in spite of the limit of people that you enjoy the holidays.

So many holidays are going to be destroyed sadly between this and politics.

I hope you feel better soon.  In Ohio, there are almost 5,000 people getting it a day. Yesterday's count was 4,961.  You are not alone and I wish you the best.

I hope that you feel better and get through this difficult phase.

Sending you prayers. It can happen to anyone of us at any time. You just never know. My husband is working in a steel mill where there have been at least fifty cases out of 1,500 employees. Some wear their masks, most do not. When we have no choice but to go out of the house for necessities, we instantly take a chance of catching it from any number of places. Good luck to you.
