I just couldn't gather enough material in my granny brain to work at the
Nanowrimo pace this year - a short story or two no problem, but 50K words? No way.
I used to live in Washington, and apple-knockers was a word we used for country people, unsophisticated and perhaps a bit slow. Odd how a word or phrase can mean so many different things.

Good luck to you. I have a bone pile that needs edited.
Grammarly did not come along soon enough. I am editing all of my paranormal stories to put into one book. Hopefully, it will be completed by early Spring.

Weird. We used to refer to people from Washington as apple-knockers.
I lived in Oregon as a kid, and I often heard the locals talk about the "apple-knockers," which was due to Washington state being a huge producer of apples.
