I wish you the very best with your writing!  I love Christmas and we have so many traditions.  When I was little we had a star on the tree.  When I got married my husband's family had an angel on the tree every year.  He insisted that an angel be placed on the top of our tree. I've always missed seeing a star at the top of our tree but because of a tradition now my children feel an angel should be on the top of all our trees.

Good wishes to you with your writing of the novella. And Christmas is or was a fun time - once upon a time...

It seems like cooperation is becoming a rare thing during all times of the year.

We used to have certain traditions, but they have changed in recent years.

We spend Christmas with our three daughters and two grandchildren. Our biggest tradition is the family meal and exchanging gifts on the same day. We used to open a gift on Christmas Eve, but not now that the girls are grown. Christmas has become way too commercialized. As for your novella, good luck.
