Oh the center has been such a hub of activity in your area. I am sorry it has to struggle like this and lots of people will not get back there I am thinking, even when the Pandemic slows and there is a vaccine. elderly will be getting used to staying home. This is so sad.

This is so sad to hear. Just one of the many aspects we have been impacted by this devil plague. You are lucky that you are computer savvy because I'm sure there are others there who are not. One day it will get better. I hope.

Sounds like the social aspect of the Center is sadly diminished, but those other programs being carried on sound like the most important and necessary for the community.

A bit sad in a way when those who could do with a change are tied with other problems. It used to be fun to read of your classes, We do sadly need a vaccine. I did read that one might be available for health workers by Christmas, but I guess it might take time to reach most of us.

Re: Re: Goldiec

Pat, I think it's wonderful that you share the weekly topics and tip sheet on Facebook.  I really think that some sort of connection helps people at this time.

You have wonderful group of people.

I feel that way about many of you here on Blogit with our group. Meeting in person is sadly not going to happen for a long time with the pandemic. Life is seriously too short for this crap.

Re: Goldiec

We've got a lot of members with fragile health, so will not be gathering in person in the forseeable future. I will be writing up the weekly topics and tips sheet for The Center's Facebook page, though. I have no idea whether anyone even looks at it.

I'm anxious to hear what everyone thinks about meeting in person.  I know we have COVID but possibly if everyone wore masks and socially distanced it would be possible.  I think there is a certain amount of good that comes from meeting in person.
