sassyass_64.... glad you enjoyed the photos.Its a grand celebration every year but the pandemic has changed everything in the world and now to avoid big gatherings of people the court has ordered a ban on entry to the pandals.
Owl is the vehicle of Goddess Laxmi...the Hindu goddess of wealth and wisdom. See the photo below.

Just beautiful and I guess my favorite one would be the Owls. I so love Owls. This surely is a different and difficult year for us all.

Oh, my goodness! These pandals are stunningly beautiful! I'm so glad you and your husband were able to them and photograph them. They are so uplifting just to see, especially during these times. Thank you ever so much for sharing your photos with us Westerners. These are some of the best pictures I have ever seen!
