Not sure if you are still here. I just saw your comment after my own long absence.
I did finally adopt two new kittens...about 3 weeks ago.
They are rambunctious and a handful, but they are also the sweetest snugglebums. I absolutely am smitten with them.
Their names are Mana (boy) and Pua (his sister). Mana means strength in Hawaiian and Pua means flower.
But Manapua is a Chinese meat dumpling that locals in Hawai'i often joke is made from cats. (It is NOT!)

my condolences
I am so sorry to hear about your losses. There isn't a set time to grieve and there are always reminiscent evidence that brings back memories. I have 2 cats as well, and though they are a pain in the butt sometimes, they are loved dearly.
