WOW! What a B****!

Oh, I don't really know what to say about the woman, you mentioned... except, what a b****!

Cruelty like that, I guess it goes around everywhere and every single day.

But I think you're entry here is fantastic. It's so honest, and I send you all my best thoughts after reading your story. Wish I could send you more.

I don't know how things have changed for you since then, but it seems to me, something has happened, and you got better. Most important. But thin or not, you (or anybody else) didn't diserve to be treated like that by others.

Omg! The gull of some people. I am sorry that you experienced that.

There are just way too many nasty people in this world that are a total waste of space. Once upon a time, I was thinner than any human should be. I also suffer from acid reflux, but I am no longer as thin as I would like to be. I have hypothyroidism, which is not kind to the body where thin is concerned. I now have to work at it. Of course, age has some bearing on that issue as well. You offer sage advice.

People are so cruel and it isn't thoughtlessness to do that to you. Some people love and enjoy being cruel. Calling names and acting worse than small children. I suffer reflux now I am old and it is no fun. I have to live on medication to stop it.

God Bless you!  I wish you the very best.  Some people can be so heartless and cruel but then there are so many kind and loving people in the world.  I'm so glad that the doctors found out what was wrong and were able to help you.  I've known a few people with acid reflux and they have been very sick.

I am sorry you have gone through this. There are so many things people don’t realize or know about others, and the ignorant just exacerbate one’s pain. No doubt you suffered at work too. I have been thin all of my life. I was born with a small stomach that is tubular shaped and spent the first month of my life in a hospital - alone, while they tried to help me to be able to hold down food. I had to be fed with an eye droppe.  Fast forward to adulthood, the workplace and the endless bitchy comnents, the dirty looks, the whispered comments made as I walked by, all that I endured. I love to eat, I just can’t hold much food. I never deserved the litany of snide remarks. And I too, once, after a 3-month bout of pneumonia and flu, was put on something like Ensure to help me gain some weight. Now I am content in my skin, fragile but not frail, thin but not skinny. “So what?“ I am able to say these days - this is me! Born this way....
