Re: Pat
It would look very bare without them. We still have a few lime trees along one street.

A glow of light
I love trees and I love leaves! I think there is hope when I see a glow of light! My favorite scene is outside my kitchen window when the sun comes shining through the leaves on our big old tree. The tree stands tall and the leaves are hanging on till a big wind comes and blows them away! Awesome post!!!

Your words made me sad, until I reached the end. The rustling leaves left me with a glimmer of hope. Very deep poem, Sir CCT!

I like to think that trees are great at observation of all that goes on
around them, and also very kind about not making hasty judgements.

The whispering leaves are whimsical and enchanting.
Acting natural during this frenzy of fallen leaves is anything but.

Whispering leaves rustle in the breeze. They fall, some of them. Tree may be old but still stands tall.
