Thank you so much! We have actually gotten the papers turned in, but due to Covid . . .everything was shut down for a few months and there is an added 2 year wait for the assessment to even begin. We have the paperwork and are just treating everything as if she were already diagnosed with Autsim. Some of her dr's noted mild autism, but it's still a day by day thing.

I should have done this in highschool. I have been medically unofficially been trained to take care of my daughter and have always felt comfortable being around others who need my help. I of course though wasn't planning to be on this road and have tried several others. This is the only one that clicked with me. We are so needing people that actually care about their clients and less about the paycheck.

I liked reading that you are a CNA. It is very hard work and it seems that there are never enough of them to make the job an easy one. I have always appreciated the CNA's. At different times, my Mom, Dad, three sisters, and other family members have depended on CNA's and their love and care. At 83 (me) one never knows when something like that might be needed for me. Cudos to you for all that you do.

You have been through a lot and welcome back! It's courageous of you to push through the challenges. I'd work on getting that assessment for your daughter at school sooner rather than later so she can start early with services to help her - and you.
